- Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked in a PDF reader before merging.
- Bookmarks (the outline panel) from the original files are not carried over, and interactive form fields may stop working in the merged file.
- Everything happens in your device’s memory, so very large batches (hundreds of MB) can fail on phones. Merge in smaller groups if that happens.
